秋元 万由子
フルート
日本を中心に活動を行うフルート奏者。2018年10⽉紀尾井ホール『明⽇への扉』リサイタルシリーズに出演、好評を博す。第9回神⼾国際フルートコンクール第4位、第64回ミュンヘン国際⾳楽コンクール特別賞など国内外の数々のコンクールで優勝及び入賞を果たす。2011年アメリカの全寮制高校を卒業後、渡独。フライブルク音楽大学にてF. レングリ氏、ルツェルン音楽大学にてP. グレール氏に師事したのち、ミュンヘン音楽大学大学院にてA.リーバークネヒト氏に師事。

Individual flute lessons by Mayuko Akimoto, who has studied and has been actively performing in various countries such as the US, Germany, and Switzerland. Flutists of all ages and levels are welcome.

Mayuko Akimoto is a Japanese flutist based in Tokyo, Japan. In 2018, she has appeared in “Asu e no tobira (A Door to Tomorrow)”, recital series for young and talented musicians at prestegious Kioi Hall in Tokyo. After graduating from St. Paul’s School (in Concord NH, USA), she went on to study with F. Renggli, P. Grehl, and A. Lieberknecht in Germany and Switzerland. She has won numerous prizes both overseas and in Japan, including the 4th prize at 9th Kobe International Flute Competition, and special prize at the 64th ARD International Music Competition in Munich.

Mayuko Akimoto’s teaching method is based on her experience on outstanding teachers in Japan, US and Europe. Her experience of playing in German and Swiss orchestras has also enabled her to get to know and appreciate all kinds of sound ideals and musical styles.
She focuses on supporting each student’s development with flute playing skills while respecting their individuality and curiosity towards music.
