Mayuko Akimoto

ドイツ・スイスにて研鑽を積み、現在は日本を中心に活動を行うフルーティスト。2018年10⽉紀尾井ホール『明⽇への扉』リサイタルシリーズに出演、好評を博す。第9回神⼾国際フルートコンクール第4位、第64回ミュンヘン国際⾳楽コンクール特別賞など国内外の数々のコンクールで優勝及び入賞を果たす。2011年アメリカの全寮制高校を卒業後、渡独。フライブルク音楽大学にてF. レングリ氏、ルツェルン音楽大学にてP. グレール氏に師事したのち、ミュンヘン音楽大学大学院にてA.リーバークネヒト氏に師事。

Mayuko Akimoto is a Japanese flutist based in Tokyo, Japan. In 2018, she performed a solo recital at prestageous Kioi Hall in Tokyo as a part of their recital series "Asu e no tobira (A Door to Tomorrow)" for young talents and rising stars. After graduating from St. Paul's School (in Concord NH, USA), she went on to study with F. Renggli, P. Grehl, and A. Lieberknecht in Germany and Switzerland. She has won numerous prizes both overseas and in Japan, including the 4th prize at 9th Kobe International Flute Competition, and special prize at the 64th ARD International Music Competition in Munich.
